The past pupils association has identified resource personals for development of various aspects of the school specially sports. Accordingly, Mr. Thilak Rajarathna, retired Airforce officer came forward to establish shooting as a sport in the school since 2023 January free of charge. In June 2023, out of the five students who participated the the provincial games, three has been selected for the national games, which is a new chapter in school sports history.
